Terms and conditions

When booking a stay, you agree to the General Terms and Conditions below.

 

 

Arrival and departure

 

Check-in is possible from 3 pm onwards. We ask that you let us know the estimated time of arrival a few days in advance. If the arrival time changes last-minute, we ask that you keep us informed.

A valid ID document or passport must be presented at check-in for each guest. This registration is required by Italian law. If no ID can be presented, Agriturismo Fontelini reserves the right to refuse entry to the property. The person in charge of the group must be at least 21 years old. Children of all ages are welcome.

 

Check-out is possible in the morning between 7am and 10am. If the departure time is exceeded without prior consultation, an extra night will be charged.

We ask that you leave the room tidy and put back any furniture that has been moved. If items are damaged, this should be reported before departure. In case of material damage, a solution for compensation will be found in consultation. Unreported damage will be charged afterwards.

 

 

Services

 

Breakfast is served between 8 am and 10 am. Deviations from these hours are possible after prior consultation. Allergy or other dietary requirements must be communicated before arrival. Breakfast is included when booking a B&B room and optional when booking a apartment.

 

We provide sufficient bed and bath linen in each room. Dirty towels may be placed in the shower and will be changed. Beds are changed every 3-4 days. If clean linen is needed earlier, can this be asked. 

 

Poolside loungers are free to use according to availability, we ask not to occupy them unnecessarily. Public sanitary facilities and a Honesty bar are located in the breakfast house. This ‘Honesty’ bar is available 24/24, where we ask you to note your own consumption. Payment will take place at the guest's request or at the latest at check-out.

 

Dogs are welcome upon reservation and are only possible when staying in room Briglia. This room can accommodate a dog crate. We provide a food and water bowl. There is a dog meadow with a poop bag dispenser where the dog can run free, in the rest of the domain the dog must be kept on a leash. Dogs must not be left alone in the room. If bed linen is soiled or property is destroyed, a compensation will be charged. 

 

Smoking is prohibited in all buildings and communally accessible areas. An ashtray is available at reception.

 

Parking is possible within the entrance gate, please do not drive your car beyond the parking spaces provided.

 

We ask for peace and quiet on the property between 11pm and 8am. 

 

 

Pricing policy

 

Our prices are fixed and revised annually in an available document. Deviations from this are possible in the form of discounts and promotions. Discounts cannot be combined with other promotions. Discounts and promotions are voluntary and without legal obligation. All prices quoted include VAT.

Depending on the accommodation booked, services and costs may or may not be included.

Tourist tax is charged according to prescribed standards of the province of Macerata.

Booking and payment

 

A reservation can be made via the booking tool on the website, by e-mail or by phone. A booking confirmation will be sent by e-mail with each request. We ask for a deposit to be paid no later than 7 days after confirmation of this reservation. Only upon receipt of the payment will the reservation be final, until then the reservation is in option and can be cancelled by either the guest or Agriturismo Fontelini without further restrictions or costs. If payment is not made, Agriturismo Fontelini reserves the right to re-rent the room.

 

As soon as a reservation is finalised, the general conditions will apply. The general conditions will be attached to the booking confirmation and can be consulted at any time on the website. By paying the deposit, you automatically declare having received and accepted the general terms and conditions.

 

When booking, you have the possibility to give a preference for a room or flat. We will try to respect this preference, but reserve the right to assign another room without refunding the deposit or other costs.

 

The remaining outstanding amount must be paid no later than 6 weeks before the start of the stay. If this amount has not been paid in time, Agriturismo Fontelini has the right to cancel the reservation and charge the cancellation costs as described in the cancellation conditions.

 

Additional costs and costs for services and/or products delivered during the stay at Agriturismo Fontelini must be paid on site, at the latest on the day of departure.

 

 

Liability

 

All risks relating to a stay at Agriturismo Fontelini are the responsibility of the guest.

The guest is fully responsible for the rented room or flat, its equipment, appliances and all related items. Any damage caused by him or his companions must be compensated to Agriturismo Fontelini. In the event of non-compliance with the conditions or inappropriate behaviour, the owner may deny access to the property or demand immediate departure without any refund of the principal.

 

Agriturismo Fontelini is not liable for any damage or personal injury caused to guests or caused by guests. We are not responsible for loss or theft of valuables left in the accommodation of any kind, nor for cars parked on the property. This also applies to damage resulting from natural forces, natural disasters, attacks, strikes, acts of violence or accidents. The use of the facilities both in the accommodation and on the entire domain including swimming pool is also at the guest's own risk.

Agriturismo Fontelini accepts no liability for damage for which there is a claim for compensation under travel and/or cancellation insurance.

 

In case of disputes, all (legal) costs will be borne by the guest.

 

 

Cancellation policy

 

Cancellation by the guest

A cancellation can be requested by mail at ciao@fontelini.com, upon receipt a cancellation confirmation will be returned by mail.

If the reservation is cancelled within 7 days of the reservation confirmation, the deposit will be refunded. In case of cancellation after these 7 days, the amount already received will not be refunded. In the event of cancellation 3 to 6 weeks before the start of the reservation period, the guest shall owe 50% of the total reservation amount. At 2 to 3 weeks before arrival, 75% of the total amount is due and from 7 days before arrival the full amount. A reservation that has already been cancelled cannot be transferred or moved to a third party.

 

Up to 6 weeks before arrival, the reservation can be transferred to another person's name with the consent of Agriturismo Fontelini.

 

In the event of early termination of the stay, for whatever reason, the guest will also be liable for the full amount of the reservation, including any additional costs already incurred during the stay.

 

If the cancellation fee is not paid, after written reminder, a claim will be handed over to a bailiff, and all additional administrative and other costs will be charged to the guest.

 

Cancellation by Agriturismo Fontelini

If circumstances force us to cancel a stay, the guest will be informed in writing and, if possible, an alternative will be offered. If no alternative can be offered or if this alternative is not accepted by the guest, the amount already paid will be refunded and the guest will have no other right than to reclaim this amount.

 

Cancellation due to exceptional circumstances

In case of cancellation due to force majeure such as pandemic or red zone lockdown, a free rebooking will be offered. If this is not possible for the guest, the general cancellation conditions remain applicable.

 

Cancellation insurance

We advise every guest to take out cancellation insurance. In case of cancellation, the guest can claim a refund within the insurance coverage area. In case of negative travel advice, you can try to recover the advance or already paid amount through the insurance.

 

 

Complaints

 

Complaints must be reported to Agriturismo Fontelini when they arise and at the latest before departure. This can be done either verbally or in writing at ciao@fontelini.com. We will try to resolve any complaint to the satisfaction of the guest or find a solution to which both parties can agree, as far as this is within our power. If the complaint cannot be reasonably resolved or is not to the guest's satisfaction, the guest is free to leave the property subject to payment of already incurred costs. Booking fees already paid will not be refunded.

 

 

Privacy

 

Agriturismo Fontelini will keep all personal data it has available confidential and will not freely make it available to third parties according to GDPR legislation.
